ANCHOR AND DAVIT SYSTEMS
PENTA PROVIDES EVALUATION, TESTING, AND INSTALLATION OF TIE-BACK SAFETY ANCHOR AND SUSPENDED SCAFFOLD SUPPORT DAVIT SYSTEMS FOR MID-RISE AND HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS.
PENTA’s anchor and davit services include:
EVALUATION
Current system usage and future requirements are assessed and will be used to determine the needs of the system. Based on this assessment, the design of the system is evaluated for compliance with current safety requirements including OSHA regulations and industry standards. Testing and design needs are also reviewed as part of the compliance evaluation.
DESIGN
In the event the compliance evaluation or the testing data should reveal absent or inadequate equipment, PENTA can provide a design and layout of new equipment detailing what is required to update the system in general compliance with OSHA regulations and IWCA standards. Because of our knowledge with existing building structural systems, our design services go beyond that of our competition. In addition to designing safety equipment layout and capacity, PENTA designs the attachment of the safety equipment to the building structure!
FABRICATION AND DESIGN/BUILD
PENTA provides a line of safety equipment specifically designed by our internal engineers to withstand the structural loads involved in accessing building façades and environmental conditions on building rooftops, fabricated by our vendor partners in the USA! We also install the equipment to ensure quality is maintained throughout the entire process. This process allows property management personnel more time to focus on the pressing needs at their facility while we deal with fabrication, logistics, and vendor management.
TESTING
OSHA regulations and industry standards require that anchors and davit systems be load tested prior to being placed into service, every 10 years, and after specific events. Annual visual inspections are also required to maintain compliance. Should the compliance evaluation reveal an oversight in documentation or testing, PENTA can perform non-destructive load testing to verify system capabilities. An updated report is provided containing the test data to maintain compliance.
PENTA is the only call needed for your Façade Access System needs!
